Fixed mindset V Growth mindset
Fixed: Im can do it or I can't.
Growth: I can do and learn anything I want
Fixed: Im cant lose weight and always will be this size
Growth: I'll work hard enough and I'll achieve my goal size
Fixed: I've never done it before, so I won't be any good
Growth: I'll give it a go and see what happens
Fixed: I'm not intelligent enough to be on a high salary
Growth: Every day I can learn new things to get me where I want to be
Sometimes, people with a fixed mindset don't know any other way to how they are and I guess that's not really their fault.
But what about when they realise they say no to most things?
Or someone tells them they're constantly thinking nothing is possible for them?
Yes we are born who we are and yes, sometimes it's hard to change who we are but that doesn't mean we can't or shouldn't try.
I'd like to express that there is a WHOLE universe we live in, so big, out of the 8 planets in our solar system, in 6 million years, Earth is the only one that's been touched by humans. (as we know of)
So, hear me out, if we're born into a universe this gigantically big, why do you think you should be in the same job, in the same town, with the same haircut, and the same group of friends for life? Not that there's anything wrong with consistency, but are you not just a little curious about what you could achieve if you told yourself you could do it all?
